Tennis Staff

Tommy Dixon is our General Manager and USPTA Tennis Professional. Tommy is a 1976 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill where he won six Atlantic Coast Conference individual titles, four consecutive ACC team championships, and played on four teams ranked in the top fifteen nationally. He has been a teaching professional since 1977 and works with players of all levels and abilities. In January 2007 Tommy was inducted into the North Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame at Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Kirstie Marx

Kirstie Marx is a USPTR Tennis Professional and joined our staff in 2005. She has been a tennis professional since 1992, coached at Meredith College, and is Director of Tennis for the N.C. Special Olympics.

George Scullen comes to us from the Cary Academy where he has been the Junior Varsity tennis coach for the past two years. He was previously a tennis professional at the Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center. George is a PTR certified tennis coach and a member of the USPTA.

Styrling Strother is a staff professional, a member of the USPTA, and is primarily involved in our Junior Tennis Program. Styrling was previously the Middle School coach at the Cary Academy, has an extensive tennis background and has coached since 1997. He is the president and founder of Silver Coaching Companies.
